challenge:
Action Central Asia & CIS was tasked to announce Thailand re-opening for vaccinated tourists after 2 years of closed borders, as well as to inform target audiences about direct flights from Kazakhstan cities to Thailand resorts.
approach:
Action developed an integrated strategy that included a series of special media partnerships and relatable social content. The following projects have been executed:
- Special project with a popular Kazakhstani lifestyle media, the Steppe, including 3 materials about Thailand. Articles were announced on the Steppe’s Instagram account, and the website banner was implemented to promote the campaign
- Series of articles about Thailand were published in one of the major lifestyle media titles in Kazakhstan – The Village. Materials were announced on the Village’s Instagram account, while promoting banner was placed on the media’s website
- Seeding in social media communities in order to raise awareness on traveling to Thailand (Almaty today, Sxodim Astana, Almaty news, ZTB, Astana city, Almaty city, Hedonist Almaty)
- Creative ads in Instagram account of the WeProject media
